It’s summer in Japan when I’m writing this, so no living creatures should be outside in the middle of the day.

So for the last month or so, I’ve been getting up early and going for a walk every morning. My main goal at first was exercise. Every morning, I’d give myself some time to wake up, drink some water, and then head out for a 30-minute walk.

I had no idea how much of an impact these walks would have on my writing and creativity.

Enhanced Mood And Decreased Stress Levels

Morning walks have a positive effect on mood and help to reduce stress.

Walking releases endorphins like dopamine and serotonin. So I’ve been feeling less depressed and been getting better sleep. After months of insomnia, I finally sleep more than seven hours a night every night.

Morning walks have gotten rid of my brain fog and makes me feel energized throughout the whole day.

Improved Cognitive Function And Problem-Solving Skills
